The PM Simulation Tool is divided into 2 parts:
Theory
- Interactive presentations of the PM Cycle, concepts and best practice
- Exercises based on the Project Life Cycle phases (Initiate, Plan, Execute, Monitor and Control, Close)
- Memos and hypertext presentations for deeper understanding of each concept
- The Expert's perspective
Practice
A life-like simulation of a project with the objective of preparing an International Conference.
Several partners are involved, some of whom have diverging and competing views and opinions.
The interactive situations will allow participants to practice:
- Interviews with the different stakeholders (Team Members, Suppliers, Sponsors, Clients, etc.)
- Meetings with stakeholders
- Negotiations
- Creating and managing the Team
- Managing the costs and budget
The course is designed for Project Team Members, new Project Managers, and experienced Project Managers who are looking for a more structured approach and to refresh their skills.
